Hall & Church Bookings
St. John the Divine is strategically located near the heart of downtown Courtenay. It is in a central location, on a bus route and easy to find for everyone. St John the Divine offers three rental spaces that will be great for events such as the following:
- Wedding receptions
- Fitness groups
- Group/Business meetings
- Instructional Workshops
- Craft fairs, Trade shows
- Family reunions
- Birthday parties
- Concerts/Plays
Parish Hall
The large hall is 28’ x 67’ (1876 sq ft) and can accommodate 150 people or 100 in a table setting. There is also a stage and attached kitchen. This hall is perfect for craft fairs, trade shows, wedding receptions, or fitness groups.
Hall rental also includes use of tables in two sizes (4 ft and 6 ft) and chairs.
Church
The church has a seating capacity of 190 people and features a grand piano which makes it a perfect setting for concerts and recitals.
St John’s also has a large side yard available for outdoor events such as picnics, farmers markets, and group yard sales.

INSURANCE
A damage deposit and Third Party Liability Insurance is required by all hall renters.
