Call to Worship:
The Word became flesh and lived among us, full of grace and truth.
We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son.
On this first Sunday after Christmas,
we continue to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it.
God has come to us in Jesus, bringing hope, peace, joy, and love.
We gather to worship and give thanks,
for the gift of Emmanuel—God with us.
Let us lift our voices and sing praises to our Savior.
Alleluia! Amen. (Seasons of the Spirit)
