Greetings, PJM Friends
As the challenges in life change, so must we. Often you read this phrase in PJM updates: “we continue ministering to families and children”. But what does it mean?
Of course, reading this update will give you a glimpse, but often Lorrie and Joke are unable to include all the daily tasks or services they provide, mostly because they are continuously responding to individual and family needs, such as providing food when they encounter hunger. The PJM contribution from a small team in Uganda has been astounding (as you will read). The listening and prayer support when there is great fear or anxiety over health and financial difficulties is the hallmark of their relationship building – not something packed in a box, but offered with heartfelt patience in each moment.
Thank you again for your prayer for the teams both in the Philippines and in Uganda. The teams have found rich soil where prayer and their efforts are bearing fruit – fruit that lasts!
