Thank you one and all who turned out for the annual fall clean up at St. Andrew' Cemetery, Sandwick/East Courtenay neighbourhood on Sat., Nov. 5.
We couldn't have done it without the help and assistance from the local military and cadets, long-time as well as first-time volunteers, as well as parishioners from St. John's, owner of St. Andrew's Cemetery.
“We live in such an awesome community. It was so great to see the support for our cemetery clean-up,” said the Rev. Alastair Hunting of St. John's after the event. “Young and old came out, rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty. It’s what community is all about!”
If you volunteered and would like one of the group photos that you are in, contact Scott through this Facebook page and I'll dig out the correct photo with you in it and send it to you.
